Holiday Happenings in Downtown New Haven

The holidays in New Haven officially kicked off on December 1 with a beautiful tree lighting on the Green! NBC Connecticut was the official sponsor and welcomed the public to enjoy live entertainment from local school choirs, visits with Santa and much more.

Queen Zuri Opens at 230 College Street!

The Shops at Yale and Yale University Properties held a Grand Opening  for Queen Zuri New Orleans Delicacies at 230 College Street on December 5.

Born and raised in New Orleans, owner Kim Soto inherited her Creole cooking skills from her grandmother who began teaching her to cook when she was just five years old. Kim honed her recipes over the years to become a successful restaurateur.  Ten years ago, Kim founded Queen Zuri, named after her daughter, in Milford, CT. Her passion, culinary skills and enthusiasm made her an instant success.
